Mark Hofer started CIVTECH Concrete & Construction Ltd. (then CIVTECH Structures) in 2007 after graduating with honours from the Civil Engineering Technology program at Red River College (RRC). 

With over 10 years of experience in the concrete industry, Mark began his business working out of a car by himself, and soon expanded his crew to include his two brothers and other seasonal workers. While CIVTECH’s original focus was on residential and commercial concrete, the business has grown to include a wide range of commercial and demolition projects.

Mark challenged the Red Seal exam at RRC, and became a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter in 2017. In 2023, Mark's brothers moved on to start their own residential concrete business, and in 2026, Mark’s son began to work for him as a carpentry apprentice.

Mark is passionate about his work, and is continually researching and learning about different techniques and products in order to provide his clients with the best possible result.

Mark and his crew have completed hundreds of jobs all over Winnipeg and its surrounding areas, and have consistently satisfied and impressed clients with their integrity and quality of work. Mark always says that he’s not happy until his clients are happy!
